Andean Quinoa Bakery is a manufacturer specialized in quinoa products. Our purpose is to create healthy gluten free products not only for people with celiac disease, gluten allergies and wheat allergies; but also for people with lactose intolerance, pregnant moms that want to avoid allergens and little kids that are sensible to new foods on their diet. Once we started making gluten free products with quinoa we figured out that because of the nutritional values of this ancient grain vegan people could also enjoy quinoa’s benefits that’s why we developed the gluten free-vegan line.
We started our operations on January 2013 just when we finished construction of our factory in Aloasi-Ecuador. Near the Andes our factory is situated close to the quinoa crops that are located in the upper part of the country and just 45 minutes from our capital city of Quito.
Living in Ecuador, one of the main countries where quinoa is grown, we had to follow our ancestor’s traditions and start making quinoa a regular ingredient of our meals.
